Food

In designing our menu we have tried to strike a balance to suit our international clientele who would like to try Balinese and Indonesian-inspired recipes and those who - after lengthier stays in the islands - need flavours closer to home.

About 80 percent of our dishes are prepared á la minute with predominantly local ingredients; daily delivery of meats, fresh fish and seafood, and of course our volume (of business) guarantees freshness.

Cafe Lotus serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with menus specific for the time of day.

Pangsit (Salmon)
Crisp wonton (dumplings) filled with Tasmanian Salmon silvers, shiitake and champignon mushroom; served honey mayonnaise

Grilled Sardines - when available
Deboned, butter-flied sardines, marinated and grilled; great taste. Traditional style with olive oil,
garlic & parsley or with sambal (Balinese-style)

Carpaccio of Tuna - when available
Ahi Tuna (raw), briefly marinated in olive oil, mustard, basil and lemon;

Fish fillets marinated in a paste of turmeric, lemon grass,

Ayam Sisit
