
Dinner and Balinese Folklore at Cafe Lotus
Dinner Guests at Cafe Lotus guests can view Folklore Performances taking place every night except Friday. Shows start at 7.30pm and last for about eighty minutes. Options are as follows:- A. from the restaurant seated at regular tables and chairs; distance to the stage about 25 metres
- B. from our (covered) terrace (lesehan) seated on low tables on cushions; distance to stage: 10 – 25 metres
- C. for your special occasion: from our bale patok, an elevated pavilion; for private dining with excellent viewing of temple and stage; distance to stage: 20 metres.
- D. from in front of the stage (no dinner but beverages can be ordered from the bar.)
Ticket charges (of Rp 80.000 per person) apply for front-row table A and tables closer to the stage B, C and D
A minimum charge for Food & Beverage of Rp 175.000 per person applies to front-row tables (restaurant and terrace) and Rp 300.000 p.p. for the bale patok
For other table no tickets are required and regular dinner prices apply. Children under the age of ten do not require tickets as long as they do not occupy a chair in front of the stage and families are recommended to book tables on the terrace.
Reservations for parties of ten and more may require advance selection of menu and payment of deposit.
In case of inclement weather performances are moved to the wantilan (a two-storey building adjacent to Cafe Lotus).
Folklore performances are presented independently from Cafe Lotus, and all matters pertaining to it are beyond the restaurant’s control and responsibility, which is limited to refunding tickets purchased at our cashier.
